NORFOLK – Patrick H. Bibbins Sr. of 716 B Ave., the husband of the late Mrs. 
Cotora Bibbins and a native of the Eastern Shore, died Sunday in a hospital 
after a long illness.

He was retired from the Naval base, and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist 
Church, where he was on the Male Usher Board. He was also a member of New Light 
Masonic Lodge 196.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Granby and Mrs. Gladys Hill, 
both of Norfolk, and Mrs. Pauline Earkins of Chesapeake; and two sons, Floyd 
Bibbins of California and James P. Bibbins of Norfolk.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Jenkins of Newark, N.J., and Mrs. 
Beulah Johnson of Philadelphia; three brothers, Robert Bibbins and Floyd 
Bibbins, both of Philadelphia, and Berkley Bibbins of Cheraton, Va.; nine 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by Dr. 
F.P. Wise. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at 716 B 
Ave. The body will be sent to the church at 11 a.m.
