Virginian Pilot, October 26, 1900


Mrs. Laura A. Biddle, wife of Mr. John C. Biddle, died last night at 8:30 
o’clock at her home, corner of Omohundro and Eleventh Streets, after an illness 
of a few weeks. Deceased was a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Lelia A. Lee. 
She was a member of Centenary M.E. Church and leaves a large circle of friends 
who will mourn her death. The funeral will take place from the above residence 
on Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock.
