Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 20, 1937
Robert Cooper Biddle, aged 57, husband of Mrs. Lillie Jones Biddle, and son of 
the late John C. and Mrs. Laura Lee Biddle, died at a local hospital last night 
at 10:18 o'clock.
Mr. Biddle, a feed merchant, resided at 733 Shirley avenue, and was a native 
and lifelong resident of Norfolk.  Besides his wife, Mrs. Lillie Jones Biddle, 
he is survived by one son, John R. Biddle; a daughter, Miss Mary Biddle, and 
one sister, Miss Laura Biddle, all of Norfolk.  The body was taken to H.D. 
Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason street, pending funeral 
arrangements.
