NORFOLK — Mrs. Sarah M. Bigelow, 86, of 8271 Simons Drive, the widow of Fred D. 
Bigelow and a native of Boston, died Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. in a hospital.

She was a retired principal clerk for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Boston. 
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and lived in this area for 37 1/2 
years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Blackmon of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. 
Margaret Considine of Newtonville, Mass., and Mrs. Gertrude O’Neil of Arlington, 
Mass.; a brother, Angus MacIsaac of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; 
and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Christian wake will be held tonight at 7:30 in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 
a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
