Norfolk Virginian September 21, 1876
Died at Christiansburg, Va., on the 16th inst., KADER, infant son of Annie 
Southall and Walter J. Biggs, age 10 months and 28 days. Only a few days since his 
little twin brother, Southall, was called away, and now, with sorrow, we record 
the death of little Kader. Thus, in a short space of time, has their sorrowing 
parents been called on to witness the death of these beautiful twin buds of 
promise, and sorrow, like a cloud, has settled on the heart, once made bright and 
musical by their presence. But to the dear ones who mourn their early demise, 
comes the cheering reflection that the little ones have crossed over the river, 
and the flowers that blossomed here now bloom in perennial glory in that better 
land.
