The Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 19, 1938
Miss Nannie R. Billups, aged 78, daughter of the late Frank and Mrs. Margaret 
Evans Billups, a native of Mathews County and a resident of Norfolk County for 
the past 60 years, died at 6:30 o'clock yesterday morning after a long illness 
at the home of her nephew, George M. Billups, in Portlock.  She is survived by 
three nephews, Fred Billups, of Richmond, Henry E. and George Billups, of 
Norfolk County; and three nieces, Mrs. Rush Loving, of Norfolk; Mrs. J.N. 
Lodge, of Onancock, and Mrs. Wallace Taylor, of Greensboro, N.C.  She was a 
member of McKendree Methodist Church, Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the J.R. Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake 
avenue, South Norfolk, to McKendree Church, for funeral services this afternoon 
at 3 o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
