Olney Rd., died Friday at 9:30 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Mrs. Sallie Garrett, and widow of Harrison Billups. She was a native of Norfolk, and was a member of the Glorius Hope Tent no. 105, the J.R.G. and JU. She also was a past grand office of the United Order of Tents. She was a member of Bank Street Baptist Church, and a charter member of the Dorcas Circle of the church, member of the Willing Workers, the Pastor’s Aid and missionary circles. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lillian B. Garrett; one brother, Frederick J. Garrett Jr., both of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the Bank Street Baptist Church Tuesday at 1 p.m. by the Dr. John B. Henderson, pastor. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with the Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
