NORFOLK - Mrs. Elizabeth Allison Billups, 91, widow of C. Elmo Billups and 
daughter of the late John N. and Mrs. Margaret Burbidge Borden, died in a 
Richmond hospital Monday at 5 a.m.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. Shenton Lodge of Norfolk, Mrs. W. 
Rush Loving of Richmond, with whom she had lived for the past six years, and 
Mrs. H. Wallace Taylor of Greensboro, N.C.; a son, Fred H. Billups of Coral 
Gables, Fla.; a sister, Miss Margaret A. Borden, of Norfolk, nine 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Billups was a native of Kings County, Nova Scotia, and had been in 
Norfolk 75 years. She was a member of Larchmont Methodist Church, a member of 
the Kings Daughters, for many years was on the board of the Lydia Roper Home, 
and was a member of the Woman's Reading Club. A funeral service will be held 
at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
