Norfolk - Octavious Billups, 70, of 110 Vanhorn street, Jersey City, NJ, 
received rites in Pretlows Funeral Home Dec. 26.  The Rev. Joseph Myers 
officiated.

A native of Hertford, NC, he was a son of the late Dennison and Mrs. Icely 
Billups.

He was a former member of St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Campostella.

He leaves a son, Octavious Billups Jr., of Jersey City;  a daughter, Mrs. Lenora 
Bennett, of Virginia Beach and a brother, Harrelson Billups, of Elizabeth City, 
NJ.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
