Billups of 517 W. 26th street were conducted Feb. 2 in Christ Holiness Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Beulah M. Dodson. Mr. Billups, husband of Mrs. Lillie Billups, died Jan. 28. A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Theodore Billups and the late Mrs. Mary Billups. He was a member of Christ Holiness Pentecostal Church. Besides his widow and father, surviving are five brothers, Theodore B. Billups, Reginald Billups, John T. Billups, Edward Billups, and Charlie Billups, and three sisters, Mrs. Vera Mann, Mrs. Ida Turner, and Mrs. Helen Jackson, all of Norfolk. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
