A14 NORFOLK - Theodore Addison Billups Sr., of 612 Landing street, died in a hospital. A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Charles T. A. Billups Sr. and Mrs. Sarah Etheridge Billups and the husband of the late Mrs. Cora Virginia Billups. He was a retired Army Base chef and a member of Christ Pentecostal Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Vera Mann, Mrs. Ida Mae Turner and Mrs. Helen Jackson, and five sons, Theodore A. Billups Jr., Reginald Billups, John T. Billups, Edward Billups, and Charlie Billups, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Charles T. A. Billups Jr., of Portsmouth and Linwood N. Billups of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Stalling of New York and the Rev. Beulah Dodson of Norfolk; 35 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in Christ Pentecostal Church by the Rev. S. E. Pugh. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
