Virginian-Pilot, (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, March 9, 1994 
Eoline “Tommie” Roberts Binford, 85, of the 400 block of Painter St., Norfolk, 
died Monday, March 7, 1994, in Elizabeth City, N.C.



Mrs. Binford was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late John Franklin 
and Eoline Pitt Roberts and the widow of Joseph Lewis Binford. She was a 
retired buyer for Rice Children's Clothes and a member of Colonial Avenue 
United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Order of Eastern Star, 
Virginia Chapter (NU)22.



She is survived by one son, Lewis Roberts Binford of Terrell, Texas, and one 
granddaughter, Martha Binford of Rio Ranch, N.M.



Funeral services will be held at Twiford's Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, at 2 p.m. 
Thursday by the Rev. Malcolm Yaple. Burial with Eastern Star rites will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery , Norfolk. The family will receive friends one hour before the 
funeral hour.
