Norfolk - Mrs. Annie M. Bishop, 50, of 1728 Canton Ave., the wife of George H.
Bishop, died May 13 in Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond.

A native of Scotland Neck, NC, she worked for Virginia Cleaners in Berkley for
20 years. She was in charge of the tailoring department for all branches of the
cleaners.

She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, survivors include a son, Ernest M. Bishop of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held May 18 at noon in New Calvary Baptist Church by Dr.
Milton A. Reid. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Pretlow’s Funeral Home
in charge.
