NORFOLK — Mrs. Martha F. Bivens, of 2412 Virginia Beach Blvd., Apt. 2D, the wife 
of William J. Bivens, died Tuesday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Senior 
Citizen’s organization.

Besides her husband, survivors include a sister, Mrs. Alethia Hamilton of Norfolk.

A Christian Wake service, will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Chapel,37th Street and Colley Avenue, by the Rev. James Rizer. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
