Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, April 23, 1992 
Shamyia Janay Samuel-Black of the 9600 block of 19th Bay St., infant daughter of
Kimberly D. Samuel and Clize A. Black, died April 17, 1992, in a Philadelphia
hospital.

Shamyia was born in Norfolk.

Other survivors include a sister, Britteny Dukes of Norfolk; maternal
grandmother, Earthe Blake of Clearwater, Fla.; paternal gradnather, Rubin Black
of Jamaica; and paternal grandmother, Katheleen Johnson of Hartford, Conn.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Calvary Cemetery by
the Rev. Anne Barnes. The family will assemble at 10:45 a.m. in the cemetery.
Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
