The Norfolk Virginian  June 5, 1895
BLACK- In this city, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Cabler, No. 
40 Bank street, Monday, June 3d, 1895, at 9:25 o'clock p.m., Mrs MARGARET 
BLACK, in the 81st year of her age.
The funeral will take place from the above residence WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON at 
5o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of the venerable Mrs. Margaret Black took place from the residence 
of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Cabler, No. 40 Bank street, yesterday afternoon at 
5 o'cloclk and was conducted by Rev. Dr. Armstrong. The interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
