NORFOLK - Mildred W. Black, a native of Norfolk, departed this life on Jan. 22, 
2003, in College Park, Md. 

She was the wife of the late Charles E. Black. She leaves to mourn her death one 
brother, Dr. Purvis J. Williams; sister-in-law, Blanche K. Williams; a loving 
and devoted niece, LaShonda Holloway; and many loving relatives and caring 
friends. 

A wake will be held at 10 a.m. today with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in 
Holy Redeemer Church, 49th Avenue and Berwyn Road, College Park, Md. Burial will 
be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Riddick Funeral Service, 
Norfolk, is in charge.
