Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - May 27, 1990

Roosevelt Blackledge, of the 900 block of Mariner St., died May 22, 1990, in 
a hospital.
Mr. Blackledge, a native of Norfolk, was the widower of Nora Lee Blackledge.
Survivors include seven daughters, Jennett Drewitt, Shirley Hart, Maxine 
Cooper, Lavern Drewitt, Dale Blackledge, Barbara Blackledge and Elaine Ghee; 
and six sons, Thomas Drewitt, George Drewitt, Roosevelt Drewitt, James 
Drewitt, Carlton Drewitt and Antonio Blackledge, all of Norfolk; two 
brothers, James Blackledge of Norfolk and William Blackledge of Baltimore; 
32 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Graves Funeral Home by 
Elder Richard Richardson. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
