Funeral services for Titus Blackwell of 1265 Griffin street were held June 12 
at First Church of Christ Holiness with the Rev. Mr. Johnson officiating.  
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Service in charge of 
arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hannah Blackwell;  two daughters, Mrs. 
Virginia Whitehurst and Miss Gladys Blackwell, both of Norfolk;  three sons, 
Leroy, Titus Jr., and James Blackwell, all of Norfolk;  15 grandchildren and 
four great grand-children.
