Arthur Alvah Blair, who died Saturday morning at 10:10 o'clock at the residence, 502 Hermon Avenue, were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Paul V. Heller officiating. The Rev. F. V. Bambrick was present in the sanctuary. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Heller paid tribute to the Christian life of Captain Blair. During the service, Mrs. Stark A. Sutton sang, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought", and a duet, "Veni Jesu", was sung by Mrs. Sutton and Prof. J. Harvey Stevens, with Professor Stevens as accompanist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of white and pink carnations and ferns. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were I. T. Ballard, Dr. James W. Hunter, V. L. Hodges, M. Freeman, W. T. Marshall, L. I. Griggs, R. A. Savage and W. Ballard.
