He was a machinist and had been employed in the Navy Yard for 20 years. He was born in Norfolk and had been a resident of this section all of his life. He was a member of Portsmouth Camp, Spanish War Veterans. He was the son of the late Alfred B. and Mrs. Delia Swank Blake, and is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Samuel B. Duncan, Mrs. Charles R. Hudgins and Mrs. Harry L. Reese, all of Norfolk. The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover avenue, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at noon. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
