Funeral services for William Blake, who died in the U.S. Marine Hospital on 
Friday, April 7 after a lingering illness, were conducted Tuesday night, April 11 
at the House of Prayer for All People, Bishop C. M. Grace, founder. The pastor, 
Elder C. C. Madison gave a talk and introduced Elder Melvin Spencer who officiated 
at the rites. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Blake was the nephew of Mrs. Annie Boone. The remains were handled by the 
Warren Funeral Home, 646 East Princess Anne road.
