Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday March 17, 1944
Mrs, Annie J. Blanchard, wife of Alonzo Blanchard, died yesterday morning at 
8 o'clock at her home, 1211 Hull street, South Norfolk.  She had been a 
resident of South Norfolk 35 years.  She was born in Perquimans County, 
N.C., the daughter of James A. and Sarah Gallop Hall.
Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Mrs. Arthur Johnson, 
Jr., and Mrs. J.L. Austin, of South Norfolk, and one son, Albert A. 
Blanchard, U.S.A.; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Berger and one brother, Albert 
Hall, of Norfolk.
The body was removed to the J.R. Williams Funeral Home, pending funeral 
arrangements.
