NORFOLK — Jennifer Nicole Blanchard, 4, a daughter of M. Bud and Mrs. Gloria 
Jemison Blanchard of 535 Draper Drive, died Tuesday in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Portsmouth, she was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Besides her parents, surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Patricia B.
Duane of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Terri Ann Allan of Lakewood, Colo., Miss Susan Dee 
Blanchard, also of Charlotte, and Miss Carmen Yvonne Blanchard of Norfolk; five 
brothers, Thomas C. Blanchard, Joseph P. Blanchard, Christopher M. Blanchard and 
Randall V. Blanchard of Norfolk, and Kent D. Blanchard of Virginia Beach; and 
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth McGovern of New Orleans.

A Christian wake service will be held tonight at 7:30 in Smith & Williams Funeral 
Home.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic 
Church by the Rev. William Pitt. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Tidewater Association 
for Retarded Children.
