Blanchard, died in Lynchburg yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. He was 27 years old. The body will arrive here at 7:45 tonight on the Norfolk and Western train. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Warren H. Denison, pastor of the Memorial Christian Temple, and will take place from the residence of J.H. Blanchard, 113 West Fourteenth Street, at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning. Friends are invited to attend. Mr. Blanchard leaves his wife, Mrs. Blanch Pauline Blanchard; one son, Herman W. Blanchard; his father J.W. Blanchard; two brothers, J.E. Blanchard of Lynchburg and J.H. Blanchard of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Jesse Eason and Mrs. J.E. Saunders of Portsmouth and Mrs. C.J. Rountree of Suffolk.
