Mrs. Amanda Bland, daughter of the late Warner and Mrs. Fannie Walker, died 
at her residence, 1479 Dakota St.,(Titustown), October 29 at the age of 59.

She was a native of Norfolk and a member of the First Baptist Church, Logan 
Park.

Miss Helen Walker, her sister, and others survive her.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 3, at 2 p.m. at Church of God in 
Christ, Diven street.  The pastor, Rev. Willis, officiated.  Services were 
held at the Church of God in Christ because Sunday funerals have been 
omitted at First Baptist Church, Logan Park.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale’s Funeral Home in charge.
