Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 14, 1961
Final rites were held Saturday at B. F. King funeral Home for Charles A. Blango,
57, of 812 Wood street, who died Oct. 4 in a Norfolk hospital.

The service was conducted by the Rev. J. B. Hen(rest of name is illegible),
pastor of Bank Street Baptist Church, of which Mr. Blango was a member.  Burial
was in Calvary Cemetery.

A member of Campbell Masonic lodge, the deceased was a native of Washington, NC.
 He was a retired presser and lived in Norfolk 20 years.

Survivors include a son, Charles Blango of Brooklyn;  a daughter, Mrs. Grace
Cross of Germany;  and a brother, Clarence A. Blango of Burlington New Jersey.
