She lived at Leckie and Hatton streets. She lived in Tidewater all of her life. She was vice president of the 60 Plus Club of Ocean View and during World War II was an air controller volunteer. Survivors include two sons, George A. Thompson of Hampton and William W. Thompson of Richmond; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Norfolk, by the Rev. John Teter. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. The family suggests that flowers be omitted, and memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
