Virginian Pilot/Norfolk Landmark January 22, 1921
William E. Blanks died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the residence of 
his daughter Mrs. N. S. Miller, 303 Westover Avenue, following a short 
illness. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William D Blanks; two 
daughters, Mrs. N.E. Miller and Miss Beurie Blanks; Two grandchildren, 
Catherine and Sarah Miller; one brother A. L. Blanks of Norfolk and one 
sister, Mrs. M. A. Brimmer of Milwaukee Wis. The funeral will be held at the 
above residence tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.

NOTE BURIAL IS IN CEDAR GROVE NOT ELMWOOD
AND GRAVE IS UNMARKED
