Virginian Pilot May 26, 1911

Mrs. Blanche E. Blassingham, wife of J.E. Blassingham, died yesterday morning at 
7:10 o'clock at the family residence after an illness of several months, on the 
Boulevard, near Money Point.
The deceased was a native of Murfreesboro, N.C. and had been a resident of the 
county nearly twenty years.  She was 42 years old and is survived by a husband 
and three children, William, Florence and John Blassingham.  The deceased was 
well known and respected and her death casts a gloom over the community.
The funeral will be conducted from the above residence this afternoon at 3 
o'clock and Rev. D.A. Keys, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, 
officiating, and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
