Nivens, at Rosemont, following an illness of three months. He was a native of Gloucester County, where he made his home the greater part of his life. He came here and took up residence with his daughter six years ago. He was one of Gloucester's best known citizens. Mr. Blassingham was a son of the late John W. and Mrs. Emma Dunston Blassingham and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nivens; one sister, Mrs. Lorena Wingfield, of Hampton and two brothers, J.W. Blassingham, Norfolk County and J. L. Blassingham, of Norfolk, the latter a well known lumberman. The body was taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot at Magnolia Cemetery.
