Virginian-Pilot  September 19, 1956

Michael Stanley Blessing, infant son of John H. an Mrs. Evelyn Sharok Blessing 
of 4305 Neptune Ave., died  yesterday at 2:45 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
Besides his parents, surviving are one sister, Joann M. Blessing; one brother, 
John Richard Blessing and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Blessing 
of Wheeling, W.Va.
The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Funeral 
services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the grave in St. Mary's 
Cemetery, Norfolk.

SOUTH NORFOLK — Funeral services for Michael Stanley Blessing, infant son of 
John H. and Mrs. Evelyn S. Blessing, of 4205 Neptune Ave., who died Tuesday, 
will be conducted today at 11 a m., at the grave in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Fr. Thomas C. Healey, pastor of St. Matthew’s Catholic 
Church, Berkley. The family will assemble at the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home to 
go to the cemetery.
