Blick, Widely-Known Woman, Succumbs to Illness Miss Lovey A. Blick, aged 63, daughter of the late Benjamin D. and Ann Grimstead Blick, died at her residence, 1312 DeBree avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock after a long illness. she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Rosa E. Stewart, of Norfolk; two nieces, Miss Jo Blick, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Rosa Gresham, of Virginia Beach, and two nephews, Frank Blick and Milton Stewart, both of Norfolk. Miss Blick was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She conducted the first private school in Norfolk and for several years was a music teacher. She was a member of the Park Place Methodist Church, Business and Professional Women's Club, Pythian Sisters, Virginia Rebekah Lodge 15, Reapers Circle, King's Daughters and Women's Auxiliary, Spanish American War Veterans. She also was president of the ladies' Bible class of the Park Place Methodist Church for two years prior to her illness and for the past 40 years had been in the florist business. The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Park Place Methodist Church for funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
