Virginian-Pilot December 9, 1924
J. William Blick, Jr. — Funeral services for Mr. Blick were conducted yesterday 
afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Church of the Ascension, the Rev. J. S. Meredith, 
D.D. and the Rev. F. C. Steinmetz, S.T.D., officiating. There was a large 
attendance and many floral offerings. A delegation from Charity Lodge No. 16, K. 
of P., were in attendance and held their ritual services at the grave. The 
pallbearers were O. H. Baird, Miles Portlock, Leo Klutz, W. K. Neville, Paul 
Bryan, B. F. Bullock, Frank Slate and Guy S. Jackson. Burial was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
