The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 25, 1937 

Mrs. Ada Rutter Blick, aged 70, died suddenly at the residence of her 
daughter, Mrs. Harry H. Laing, 2902 Idlewood Avenue, Richmond, last night at 
10:15 o’clock.
She was a native of Portsmouth and lived in Portsmouth and Norfolk all of her 
life prior to three years ago when she went to Richmond to live with her 
daughter. She was the widow of Charles F. Blick and daughter of Barney A. and 
Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell Rutter. She was a member of Larchmont Methodist 
Church. Burial will be in the family plot in Cedar Grove.
