Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 6, 1914

J. Thomas Blick died yesterday morning at 11:20 o'clock at a local hospital 
after a brief illness.  Mr. Blick was 61 years old and had lived in this 
city for more than half a century.  He was engaged in the contracting 
business for several years but retired some time ago.
He is survived by three sons, Walter G. and Charles F. of Norfolk and Thomas 
J. of Buffalo; one brother, Charles F. Blick of Norfolk and two sisters, 
Mrs. Walter H. Barnes of Goldsboro, N.C. and Mrs. Charles H. Davis of San 
Diego, California.  The funeral will take place from the residence of Walter 
G. Blick, 110 East Fourteenth street, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.
