Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Aug. 10,1968
Norfolk - Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary C. Blizzard, 58, of 361 W. 13th street
were held Aug. 6 at St. Paul CME Church.  The Rev. L. E. Craig officiated.

A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of John A. Blizzard and a daughter of the
late James and Mrs. Martha Cook.  She was a member of St. Paul CME Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Melvin Blizzard of Chicago;  a
daughter, Mrs. Vivian Bowman of Norfolk;  two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Bass of
Norfolk and Mrs. Louise Poindexter of Bridgeport CT;  seven grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
