Blanche H. Block, 78, of the 500 block of Roland Drive, died September 15, 
1995, in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mrs. Block, a native of Jackson, LA, was the widow of Morris H. Block and was a 
retired clerk with the Norfolk Naval Base.
Survivors include a daughter, Elka M. Block of Arlington, MA; two sons, Hal E. 
Block of Chesapeake and Tilton L. Block of Frankfort, IL; two sisters, Mabel 
McGraw of Pride, LA, and Naoma Turner of Baton Rouge, LA; and one grandson, 
Matthew Block of Frankfort, IL.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in B'Nai Israel 
Cemetery by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk 
Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at 298 
Suburban Parkway. Norfolk.
