Virginian-Pilot, October 11, 1979
NORFOLK - Morris Harold Block, 67, of 533 Roland Drive, the husband of Blanche 
Humphrey Block and a native of Norfolk, died Wednesday in a hospital.
He was a retired distributor for Birtcherd's Dairy.
He was a member of Temple Israel, Norfolk Masonic Lodge 1, and Khedive Shrine 
Temple.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elka Whitney of Illinois; two sons, 
Tilton L. Block of Groton, CT, and Hal E. Block of Norfolk; and a brother, 
Robert L. Block of Jacksonville, FL.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts. The family will be at 298 
Suburban Parkway. They have asked that flowers be omitted.
