NORFOLK - Juanita G. Block, 64, of the 2300 block of St. Dennis Ave., went to be 
with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2003 after a courageous battle with 
cancer. Mrs. Block was a beloved wife and mother and a friend to every person 
she met. 

Juanita was a member of Bethany Cathedral Church where she was vice-president of 
the adult choir. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert E. Block; one daughter, 
Lestinia Williams; three sons, Wendell Smith, Chris Richardson and Douglas 
Richardson; one granddaughter; six grandsons; one great-grandson, all of 
Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and her very best friend, Marion (Buddy) 
Porter of Portsmouth. 

A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. by Bishop M.L. Johnson Jr. at Graves 
Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
