Virginian-Pilot  March 8, 1910
The remains of Leonard J. Bloomer arrived here from Bloomington, HL, Saturday 
evening. The funeral was held from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 9:30 o’clock 
yesterday morning, and was largely attended. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. 
Father E. J. Walsh. During the service, Miss Hughes sang, "Lead Kindly Light.” The 
floral, tributes were very handsome. The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Following were the pall-bearers: John Hill, Frank Ferguson, J. Barlow, John C. 
Cashin, G. B. Hart and J. S. Smith.
