Berkley - Jackson Blount - Funeral services for Mr. Blount who passed away at
the home of his son at 226 Suffolk street after a short illness Saturday, were
held on April 1 at New Central Baptist Church with the Rev. J. C. Diamond,
pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Mr. Blount was one of the oldest members of the church. During the service a
solo was rendered by Mrs. Annie Banks. He is survived by three daughters and
four sons. Interment was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Fitchett-Bell
Funeral home in charge.
