Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, April 8, 1990 
Nathaniel Blount, of the 800 block of Dillon Ave., a retired longshoreman, died
April 6, 1990, in a hospital.

Mr. Blount, a native of Swan Quarter, N.C., had retired from International
Longshoremen's Association Local 1248 after 30 years. He was a member of Jobe
Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Issac S. Blount Jr. of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by the
Rev. James Johnson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at 2813 E. Virginia Beach Blvd.
