Final rites for Mrs. Virginia Blount, who resided at 128 “B” avenue, South
Norfolk, were held Thursday, Oct. 10, at First Calvary Baptist Church.  The Rev.
C.E. Griffin, pastor, officiated.  Mrs. Blount died at her residence Sunday,
Oct. 6, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Icin and Mrs. Margaret Walker Amphy.  Survivors
include a daughter, Mrs. Emma McCoy of South Norfolk, and other relatives.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Fitchett’s Funeral Home.
