Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, April 20, 2002 
CHESAPEAKE - Jeffery ``Horse'' Blount of the 800 block of Banister St., died
April 16, 2002, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Born in Chesapeake, he was an engineer for Norfolk & Southern Railroad and was a
Baptist.

Survivors include his stepmother, Madeline Sharp of Chesapeake; three sisters,
Cynthia Moss of Chesapeake, Sharon Harrison and husband Quintin of Laurel, Md.,
and Delores Richardson of Bowie, Md.; a brother, Herbert Arrington of Norfolk;
goddaughter, Christine Webb of Chesapeake; an aunt, Vivian Jones of Virginia
Beach; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Bethany Baptist Church by the Rev.
Charles Harrin. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The remains will be ready
for viewing Sunday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at 1101 Grandy
Court, Chesapeake, at 11 a.m. for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home,
Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
