Virginian Pilot October 2, 1906
Mrs. Sarah C. Blount, aged 48 years, passed away at her home, No. 10 Goff 
street, Huntersville, at 11:50 o'clock Sunday night.  The deceased was a woman 
of many excellent traits of character and had a large circle of friends, who 
have learned with sorrow of her death.  The funeral will be held from her late 
residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon.

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah C. Blount was held from her late residence, No. 10 
Goff street, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. W.M. 
Vines, D.D., of the Freemason Street Baptist church.  The remains were laid to 
rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
