Z. P. Jenkins, officiating. Mrs. Blowe died at a hospital on Aug. 18, following a short illness. Daughter of the late Elijah and Almeta Little, she was a native of Walston, VA, and had been a Norfolk resident for 20 years. She was a member of the Paladin Club, Union Congregational Christian Church, it’s Missionary Circle, usher board No. 2, the Floral Club, Pastor’s Aid Society and the church council. She also was a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include her husband, John Blowe; her stepmother, Mrs. Lillian Little; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Johnson and Mrs. Helen Smith of Norfolk, and Mrs Addie Jones of Moyock NC, and Mrs. Alice Warren of New York. The deceased was buried in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home.
