Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, November 5, 1993
Roy L. Blowe of the 2600 block of Princess Anne Road, a retired longshoreman,
died Nov. 3, 1993.

Mr. Blowe was born in Courtland, Va. He was retired from the International
Longshoreman's Association (NU)1248.

Survivors include his wife, Edith B. Blowe; two daughters, Cimaron Blowe and
Charlena Blowe, both of Norfolk; two sons, Alron Beard and Charles Blowe, both
of Norfolk; five sisters, Sarah Harris, Doris Harris, Margaret Powell and Nellie
Spearman, all of Chesapeake, and Alice Godley of Portsmouth; three brothers,
Richard Blowe, Paul Blowe and Joseph Blowe, all of Chesapeake; and a host of
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Community Funeral Home,
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Anthony Mosley. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
