Bloxsom passed away at the residence of his son-in-law, O.W. Edwards, 211 Grace street, yesterday afternoon at 6:30 in his 83rd year. He was a native of Eastern Shore, and the son of E.R. and Susan Drummond Bloxsom. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.J. Strawhand and Mrs. O. W. Edwards, both of Norfolk, and by five sons, F.H. Bloxsom of Lowell, Mass,; F.A. Bloxsom of Arley, Va.; J.M. Bloxsom of Locustville, Va.; W.F. Bloxsom of Cobbs Island coast guard station, and P.E. Bloxsom of this city. The deceased was a Confederate veteran, and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 23 years. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 at the residence, with interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
