Norfolk Journal and Guide, April 4, 1942

The funeral of Charles Blue, 66, of 113 Wilson Avenue, who died at his home
March 23, was held at Second Calvary Baptist Church March 29 with the Rev. C. P.
Madison officiating.  Born in Rocky Mount WV, he had lived here 42 years.  His
survivors include his widow, Mrs. Emma Blue, two daughters, and other relatives.
 Burial was directed by Hale and Company in Calvary Cemetery.
